How funds are raised

The Friends raise funds in several ways






• Membership subscriptions.
Supporters can either pay a small annual subscription (£10) or become Life Members.

• Friends' Hospital Shop & Ward Trolley.
All profits from the volunteer-run Friends’ Hospital Shop and Ward Trolley
Service at St Richard’s Hospital

• Events.
Income from occasional events such as concerts, fetes and supermarket collections.

• Donations.
Donations,often from patients or relatives who have
appreciated the treatment they have received.

• Legacies

• In Memoriam donations
either sent directly to the Friends or via funeral directors

• Specific appeals
and partnerships with local organizations such as Rotaract and the Lions Club
