How we make a difference

The Friends have always provided traditional “patient comforts”,
which is still a high priority. We also provide many basic items.

Each request is carefully scrutinized. Recent examples include:

• Surgical instruments and C-Diff screening equipment
• Physiotherapy & Occupational Therapy equipment
• ECG machines, Echocardiograph equipment
• Ultrasound scanners and other gynae equipment
• A & E trolleys, Children’s books and toys, examination couches
• Anaesthetic machines, monitors, Infant resuscitation equipment

Major donations have been made to hospital appeals:
• A & E appeal (£150,000)
• MRI Scanner (£200,000)
• Cancer Day Unit (£157,000)

And to projects adopted by the Friends:
• Chichester Treatment Centre (£225,000)
• Donald Wilson House Neurological Rehabilitation Centre (£100,000)
• A & E Accident and Emergency X Ray (£265,000)
• Eye Day Surgery Unit - £350,000.00
