Friends volunteers celebrate long service awards

Last month, Friends volunteers enjoyed a lovely lunch where they were presented with their long service awards in acknowledgement of their time and dedication that they give as volunteers to the Friends of Chichester Hospitals.

As a charity run entirely by volunteers, without our valued volunteers and long serving individuals who have supported us for many years, we wouldn’t be able to operate.

Amongst the volunteers attending the lunch was our oldest volunteer, Rosemary. She is widely known and very highly regarded by our fellow volunteers and regular customers at the Friends hospital shop for her kindness, friendly smile and long service to the Friends as a volunteer.

Another of our volunteers and fellow committee member, Jacqui Hepworth, celebrated 25 years of service from Cornwall as pictured here below.

Thank you to all of our volunteers of all ages who continue to support us by donating as much or as little time as they are able to so that we can continue to make a difference to patients, staff and visitors at St Richard’s Hospital.
