Friends volunteer trolley service returns to St Richard’s Hospital!

We are delighted to announce that following restrictions after the COVID-19 pandemic, we have now been given approval to resume our popular ward trolley round services from Monday 20th February!

Trolley rounds will run daily on weekdays, operated by our lovely team of Friends volunteers who bring smiles to the patients and staff at St Richards Hospital, as well as a selection of snacks, newspapers, magazine, toiletries and more to those who are unable to move from their bed or ward.

We are so looking forward to resuming this service that really does make a real difference to staff and patients at St Richards and brings a great deal of enjoyment to both our volunteers and the patients and staff that they meet on their trolley rounds.
